Legacy in Motion marked twenty years of the house, 2006 to 2026. At The Bellevue Manila, the gala retold the story as four eras of jewelry, and used the night to show where the house goes next.
A milestone the house rarely stopped for
For most of its history the house did not pause to celebrate itself. Earlier anniversaries went by quietly while the business put its energy into opening branches and looking after its people. The twentieth was different: a gala, a fashion show, and a proper look back. The staff who have served the house the longest were honoured on the night.
Four collections, four chapters
The centrepiece was a fashion presentation, also called Legacy in Motion. It showed four jewelry collections, each inspired by a different stage of the house's history. Radio host Nicole Hyala, the house's brand ambassador, headlined the show. The four eras below follow the same arc.
Built on loyalty
Asked what has kept the house going, Mayet named loyalty as its first core value. Many of her customers have been coming back since 2006, and she puts that down to a plain approach: what you see is what you get. Services such as buybacks and appraisals back it up, giving clients confidence that a piece keeps its value long after the day they bought it.
From a small jewelry business, the house grew into a chain of boutiques. When the pandemic arrived, selling online and live became a central part of how it works, no longer a side channel.
A new chapter: fragrance
The anniversary also introduced the house's first fragrance collection, a step beyond gold and diamonds. Mayet has long been drawn to chemistry and formulation, and the collection took shape after a visit to Grasse in France, the town known for its perfumers.
There are ten scents, five for women and five for men. The women's collection is Pineapple Oud, Blushing Rose, Radiant Alaya, Golden Rouge and Pistachio Vanille. The men's line is Roma Noir, Spiced Nomad, His Bleu, Imperial Silver and Noble Éclat.
Jewelry is still the core of the business. The fragrances give existing clients another way into the house, and they introduce it to people who are not yet ready to buy fine jewelry. Mayet's aim, in her own summary, was to keep building on luxury that people can afford.
After twenty years in fine jewelry, the next chapter is about new ways to experience the same house, whether through a diamond ring, a gold necklace or a bottle of perfume.
